Melco‘s Market Update analyzes the impact of Black Friday, Cyber Monday and Christmas in the electro sector, in collaboration with its AECOC event partner.

The information session will deepen the figures obtained in the last promotional campaigns, with the most current data presented by the consultants GfK and CONTEXT and the IESE business school.

The session will also identify the main trends that will move the market in 2017.

The day will bring together 100 executives from the main companies in the sector.

The call is sponsored by BC Warranty Management (BCWM), a company specializing in warranty extensions and IT & Ce Maintenance services.

One more year, Melco, the Business Club of Consumer Electronics and Small Appliances, and AECOC, the Association of Manufacturers and Distributors, convene an information session addressed to executives of companies in the electro sector in which they will delve into the figures reached in the last campaigns of Black Friday, Cyber Monday and Christmas.

The day will begin with the participation of Elena Toribio from GFK who, based on different methodologies, will analyze the consolidated technological markets, as small niches with strong growth, with connectivity as a common denominator. With data and examples from the market, it will clarify the constant change that our sector is experiencing in recent years.

Next, Elena Montañes, Country Manager of Context Spain, will present the study that the consultancy has done in collaboration with VR Research Group and in which they explore the level of knowledge, interest and motivation that players and the general public have about Virtual Reality.

To finish, the day will have the participation of Pablo Foncillas, Lecturer of the Marketing Area of the IESE business school. In his presentation, Foncillas will contribute ideas, reflections and examples that will transform the sale of home appliances, consumer electronics, computers and technology under the heading “Marketing that comes change everything”.

The session will take place next February 14, 2017 and will be held at the AECOC training center in Madrid.
