Melco, the New Technologies and Small Home Appliances Business Club, prepares its Market Update session, with the help of its partners CONTEXT and GfK.

The session will take place next February 14, 2017 and will be held at the AECOC facilities in Madrid.

Analyzing the figures of the campaigns; Black Friday, Cyber Monday and Christmas 2016, in addition to identifying the trends that will move the market next year are the objectives of the call.

The day will be open to all companies in the sector, until reaching the capacity of the room, with the only requirement to register in advance.

Analysis of the results of 2016

One more year, Melco, the New Technologies and Small Home Appliances Business Club, convenes a training session, with the help of its partners, the GFk and CONTEXT consultants, and in collaboration with the AECOC Association.

The objective of the call is to analyze the results of the campaigns; Black Friday, Cyber Monday and Christmas, as well as revising the figures for the end of 2016. An exercise that, according to experts, can surpass the results of previous years, based on the increase of consumer confidence indices.

In addition to the quantitative analysis, both CONTEXT and GfK will announce the trends that will move the market next year. The most important consultants in Europe will think about about the impact that those categories of products that are targeted as traffic generators at the point of sale may have in the near future.

Business strategies in technological environments

On the other hand, the fruit of the collaboration established more than three years ago between Aude Business Events, a company that organizes the Melco Business Club and AECOC, is the Market Update 2017 that will be attended by the Professor of the Marketing Department of the business school IESE, Pablo Foncillas.

In an attractive presentation, Professor Foncillas will contribute his vision on the different commercial strategies developed by technological companies in the last years, facilitating to the assistant elements of self-analysis to face the challenges that such a dynamic market poses.

The fifth edition of Melco, will take place in the Congress Center of Zaragoza, on June 6 and 7, 2017, where more than 80 brands will meet that will maintain more than 1,300 business meetings with about 140 people responsible for buying the most important brands of the Iberian Peninsula.
